LTC Presents New LT6220/21/22 Op Amps
Linear Technology Corp. (LTC, Milpitas, CA) announced the LT6220, LT6221 and LT6222 single, dual and quad, rail-to-rail, input and output, precision op amps. Drawing less than 1mA per channel, the 60MHz op amps increase the operation time of wide-bandwidth, battery-powered systems without compromising performance. The LT6220/21/22 can operate from supplies as low as 2.3V and up to 12.6V, while the entire supply range is available because of the devices' rail-to-rail inputs and outputs.
The LT6220/21/22 also offer excellent dc accuracy. With a maximum input-offset voltage of 350µV, maximum input-bias current of 150nA, CMRR of 82dB and voltage gain of 90dB, the devices are claimed to have significantly better performance than other op amps with comparable bandwidth. Output-current capability is 50mA for driving heavier loads, even with a low supply current of less than 1mA/amplifier.
Fully specified over the commercial temperature range of 0°C to 70°C and industrial temperature range of –40°C to +85°C, the LT6220 single is offered in the five-pin SOT23 and eight-pin SOIC packages. The LT6221 dual is available in the eight-pin SOIC and space-saving, 3mm x 3mm, DFN package. The LT6222 quad is available in the 16-pin SSOP, which has the same footprint of an SO-8 package.
Pricing starts at $1.20 each for the single, $1.85 each for the dual and $2.95 each for the quad in 1,000-piece quantities.
