Lin Engineering Unveils Slim Line Step Motors

Lin Engineering Inc. (Santa Clara, CA), a leader in step motor design, introduced its new Slim Line of 0.9 degree, Nema 17 step motors, which are suitable for high-speed and microstepping control applications.
Depending on torque requirements, the Slim Line Series offers three motors, which vary in thickness from 14 mm to 17 mm. The new line offers a holding torque range from 4 oz-in up to 8 oz-in. Uni-polar and bi-polar windings are available at no extra cost in order to allow for the torque and speed required for the application.
