Liebert Debuts PowerSure Surge II Suppressors

Liebert Corp. (Orlando, FL) introduced the new PowerSure Surge II, three new surge suppressors delivering cost-effective, computer-grade power protection for desktop computers and their peripherals, audio visual systems, phone systems and cable modems. Designed for professional desktop and network environments, PowerSurge II delivers protection with integrated transient voltage surge suppression (TVSS) circuitry to prevent spikes, surges and other anomalies through power or data lines.

The PowerSure Surge II family includes three models allowing users to easily tailor surge suppression to their equipment needs. The Professional Series delivers basic protection for desktop systems with eight outlets providing peak surge current protection of 30,000A. The Network Series adds data line protection ideally suited for network, broadband applications and increased peak surge protection to 60,000A. The DSS Series, which includes phone line protection and eight protected power outlets, adds dual input coaxial surge suppression designed for audiovisual and broadband applications utilizing a cable modem.

Pricing for the PowerSure Surge II ranges from $27 to $53, depending upon the model.
