JumboTek Unveils E008 JV EIA Surge Suppressor

JumboTek Advanced Technologies Inc. (Taiwan) unveiled its E008 JV EIA multi-layer, surface-mount, transient-voltage surge suppressor that features bi-directional clamping characteristics and can withstand high surge current.

Suitable for use as ESD and EFT protection of I/O ports, keyboards, LCDs and sensors, the low-capacitance device has an operating voltage range from 18 Vdc to 45 Vdc and 14 Vac to 35 Vac. The operating temperature range is from -55 °C to +125 °C, and the storage temperature range is between -55 °C to +150 °C. With a ceramic body and nickel/tin end terminations, the product is offered in a leadless 1210 chip size that measures 3.20 mm x 2.5 mm x 1.80 mm. The lead time is between 20 to 45 days.
