New Products Jan 06, 2011 by Jeff Shepard

Jasco Products Company, GE licensee of consumer electronic accessories, computer accessories, home electric products, personal security and surveillance products, introduced the GE 4 Port USB 2.0 Charging Hub.

"This new product is designed to reduce the hassle associated with a mobile lifestyle, by making a charging device that is smaller, more versatile and more appealing than other available chargers," said Cameron Trice, Jasco Executive VP of Marketing and Product Development. "Space is a precious commodity when traveling; the new GE 4 Port USB 2.0 Charging Hub is the perfect solution for the traveler on the go."

The GE 4 Port USB Charging Hub allows you to charge up to four devices – never be caught without a charger again! The hub features four ports with charging capabilities of 500mA each without an AC adapter. One dedicated port delivers a 2.1A charge with an ac adapter and packs enough power to charge iPads® and iPhone® and other devices that use a lot of power. Advanced Intelligence Power Management Technology (IPMT) delivers a charge only to the devices that need it and cuts power off to those that don’t.

The hub features two modes: charging mode allows people to charge their device when not attached to their computer. Data mode allows not only charging, but data transfers between your devices and your computer. Sleek blue LED indicators notify you of remaining battery life. A powerful lithium ion battery holds a 2,200mAh charge that automatically detects your devices power need and delivers the right amount of charge. USB 2.0 compliant.

The streamline design easily slips in a backpack or laptop bag and is perfect for home, office or travel. The units are priced at MSRP $89.99.
