Intersil Offers New ISL43410 Transceivers
Intersil Corp. (Milpitas, CA) announced a new addition to its MightyMUX™ high-performance, low-voltage, analog switch line, the ISL43410 double-pole double-throw (DPDT) analog switch. The IC contains two bi-directional single-pole double-throw analog switches that can be used as a DPDT switch or a 2:1 differential multiplexer. Targeted applications include switching high-precision differential signals used in medical, communications and test equipment.
Operating from a single +2V to +12V supply, the ISL43410 provides high precision performance. The R(on) is less than 50 Ohms at +12V and 25°C and R(on) flatness is less than 10 Ohms guaranteed across input voltage and industrial temperature ranges. The best-in-class R(on) channel matching is within 0.5 Ohms, or 1%, to maintain differential balance and reduce common-mode noise. Both the near-chip-scale, 16-pad, 3mm x 3mm, quad-flat no-lead (QFN) and 10-lead, MSOP packages conserve board space.
The ISL43410 is available now. Pricing per IC in quantities of 100 to 999 units is $0.78 for the ISL43410IR in QFN packages, and $0.75 for the ISL43410IU in MSOP packages. Both the QFN and MSOP packages are rated for a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C and are available on tape and reel.
