Innoveta Debuts Belleta iMA48/iMB48 Series

February 11, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Innoveta Technologies (Plano, TX) announced its new Belleta iMA48 and iMB48 Series of 30W power modules that operate at ambient temperatures in excess of 70 degrees C in natural convection environments. The Belleta is suitable for both next-generation planning and cost-reduction design environments.

The Belleta Series features 89 percent efficiency, 36Vin to 75Vin and an 8.8A output; comes in through-hole and surface-mount packaging; and comes in both a micro-brick and half-brick format. The Belleta micro-brick footprint eliminates the need to use highly derated quarter-brick or half-brick power modules, thereby optimizing board space utilization and cost. Full output power is available with no heatsink in natural convection environments at ambient temperatures in excess of 70 degrees C for the micro-brick Belleta and 80 degrees C for the half-brick Belleta.
