Hua Da Electric Ind. Co. Ltd. (China) unveiled the HDX2 Series of metallized film capacitors, which are available with capacitance values from 1nF to 2.2µF, with ±5% or ±10% tolerance and voltage ratings of up to 275Vac. The devices are designed to limit EMI and are suitable for use in home appliances, color TV receivers, microwave ovens and blowers, as well as PCs and video recorders.
The new HDX2 Series capacitors are made of a flame-retardant plastic shell and exhibit self-healing properties. The capacitors are available with dimensions of 18mm x 11mm x 5mm to 32mm x 33mm x 18mm and are rated for operation over the -40°C to +85°C temperature range.
