H Power Develops the PowerPEM PS500 Fuel Cell Supply

H Power (Clifton, NJ) has developed the PowerPEM PS500, a 500W fuel cell supply intended for primary or backup power in telecommunications rack systems.
The PowerPEM PS500 is a modular system that fits into a standard 19in rack. It can be stacked in tandem to provide output of up to 1.5kW. H Power expects to release the system in sample quantities by the third quarter of 2001.
