GE Unveils New Digital Energy™ IT Series 600–3,000 VA UPS

General Electric (GE) announced a new pure sine wave output, line–interactive Digital Energy™ IT Series 600–3,000 VA Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). The company’s Consumer & Industrial Power Quality business states that the device allows owners and managers of server, data storage, networking, telecommunications and point–of–sale applications to stop worrying about downtime or equipment damage from power outages, voltage fluctuations and transient surges.

Available in 600, 1,000, 1,500, 2,000 and 3,000VA tower and 19" rackmount models, GE’s Digital Energy™ IT Series 600–3,000 VA UPS features pure sine wave, fully–digitized, microprocessor–controlled Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) at 50/60Hz and utilizes hot swappable, user–replaceable batteries.

Featuring RS–232, USB and accessory card communications slots, the GE Digital Energy™ IT Series 600–3,000 VA UPS utilizes MONITORing management and monitoring software, capable of interfacing with all major operating system platforms. In addition to delivering reliable power supply and protection, the GE Digital Energy™ IT Series 600–3,000 VA UPS also feature: front access to facilitate easy battery replacement; front panel, multi–function indicators with audible alarms and six LEDs allow quick understanding of overload, online and battery status; and additional communication slots accept optional simple network management protocol (SNMP) communication card.
