Gaonengda Battery Intros CR2450 Lithium Battery

Gaonengda Battery Co. Ltd. (Shenzhen, China) announced its new CR2450 lithium-manganese-dioxide, button-cell battery, which is designed for use in power supplies of laptops, calculators, cameras, and portable radio equipment. The CR2450 battery has a voltage rating of 3V; a capacity of up to 530mAh; and is claimed to maintain >99 percent of its capacity after 12 months, >97 percent after 24 months, and >95 percent after 36 months. The battery measures 24.5mm(ø) x 5mm, weighs 6.5g, and carries IEC and JISC8512 approvals.
