GAIA Converter Intros New Family of 35 W Modules

GAIA Converter Inc. (Merignac, France) introduced a new family of 35 W modules with wide input ranges of 9 Vdc to 36 Vdc, 18 Vdc to 75 Vdc, and 36 Vdc to 140 Vdc. Existing in single, dual and triple outputs from 3.3 V to 15 V with possible combinations to 24 V and 30 V, the family covers a wide range of applications where variable input voltage and transient are prevalent, making them suitable for on-board systems.

The module features an integrated input, LC filter, permanent short-circuit protection, and a soft start to avoid inrush current. The module is packaged in a standard 3 in x 2 in x 0.5 in metal case, and is fully potted to ensure thermal characteristics over the -40 °C to +95 °C case operating temperature range.
