Encapsulated 50/60Hz Transformers Rated 0.8VA to 70VA

Wabash Transformer UI Series of encapsulated power transformers offer VA power ranges from 0.8 VA to 70VA. UI series transformers are specified for 50/60Hz operation. They feature a temperature class of B (130C), are vacuum potted with a dielectric strength of 4,000Vrms. These transformers are smaller compared to open-frame designs with the same ratings. Some units are inherently short-circuit protected.

These encapsulated transformers carry several approvals including: TUV/CE: EN61558/EN60950; UL 506, 5085-1, 5085-2; cUL C22.2 #66 / #66.1 / #66.2; CQC (China Quality Certification); and they are ROHS Compliant. Applications are expected to include: LED Lighting, Electric Metering, Motor Controls, Thermostats, Alternative Energy (e.g. solar inverters and meters), Safety Isolation , SELV (Safety Extra Low Voltage) Circuits, PELV (Protected Extra Low Voltage) Circuits, and Medical Equipment.
