Delta Electronics Presents V48SR Sixteenth-Brick

Delta Electronics Inc. (Chungli, Taiwan), a leader in power systems technology and manufacturing, introduced the V48SR to its Delphi Series of board-mounted dc-dc power converters. The V48SR is sixteenth-brick converter with a footprint and pinout that follows the DOSA industry-standard of 1.30 in x 0.90 in x 0.36in.

The V48SR, 48 V input, single-output, isolated dc-dc converter, provides up to 66 W of output power or 30 A of output current (1.5 V and below). The unit operates from an input voltage of 36 V to 75 V and is available in output voltages from 1.2 V(30 A) to 15 V(4.4 A). Typical efficiency of the 3.3 V module at full load (20 A) is greater than 91%.

The Delphi Series V48SR modules also offer monotonic startup into normal or pre-biased loads and are available in both surface-mount or through-hole packages. An optional heatsink is available for more extreme thermal requirements. In OEM quantities of 1,000 pieces, the unit price is $37. Standard lead time is from stock to eight weeks, depending on output and volume.
