Chinfa Intros TDD25/TDD40 Series DC/DC Converters

Chinfa Electronics Ind. Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) announced the new TDD25 Series of 23W to 25W dc/dc converters, which feature short-circuit protection and remote on/off function. These single-output devices are offered on a TB case size, and are made of metal housing.

The input-voltage ranges from 18Vdc to 60Vdc, or 35Vdc to 75Vdc. The converters provide single-output voltages of 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc or 15Vdc, and 7A, 5A, 2A and 1.7A output current, respectively. They deliver efficiency ratings of up to 84 percent.

The company is also offering the TDD40 Series of 33W to 42W converters that operate via 18Vdc to 60Vdc, and 35Vdc to 75Vdc input, and offer 3.3Vdc, 5Vdc, 12Vdc and 15Vdc output voltages, and 10A, 8A, 3.5A and 2.8A output current, respectively. These devices, which also have remote on/off function and provide efficiency ratings ranging from 76 to 85 percent, are housed in a TC-sized metal casing.
