Central Semiconductor Presents ULTRAmini Diodes

August 05, 2003 by Jeff Shepard

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the release of several new ULTRAmini™ diodes designed to provide a wide range of device configuration options. Central Semiconductor now manufactures triple, dual, dual-opposing and dual pair diode configurations. The devices incorporate multiple, individual and isolated chip devices into a single SOT-363 six-lead package. By increasing the device density per package, Central has achieved board space reduction of up to 67%.

The new devices include the CMKD2836 dual pair of high-speed common anode diodes; the CMKD2838 dual pair of high-speed common cathode diodes; the CMKD7000 dual pair of high-speed diodes in series; the CMKSH-3DO dual, opposing polarity schottky diodes; the CMKD6263 triple, isolated, high-voltage, schottky diodes; the CMKD6263DO dual, opposing polarity, high-voltage, schottky diodes; the CMKD6001 triple, isolated, low-leakage, switching diodes; the CMKD6263 triple, isolated, high-voltage, schottky diodes; and the CMKSH-3T triple, isolated, schottky diodes.

The new ULTRAmini™ diodes are available bulk packed, or in 3,000-piece quanities on 7in tape and reel. Prices range from $0.24 to $0.36 each for 3,000 pieces on a 7in reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
