Central Semiconductor Debuts CZTA44HC Transistor

September 16, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the new CZTA44HC 400V, high-current transistor. Through the development of the new CP319 chip, this new device increases the current handling capability from 300mA to 2.0A as compared to the existing CZTA44 device, while keeping the device in the same SOT-223 package.

Both the CZTA44 and CZTA44HC offer an extremely high VCEO of 400V maximum. The CZTA44HC was designed due to requests for a higher-current version of the popular CZTA44 device.

The CZTA44HC and CZTA44 are both available in bulk pack or 1,000 pieces on 7in tape and reel.
