March 17, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Central Semiconductor Corp. (Hauppauge, NY) announced the release of the CMXD2004TO SUPERmini 900V switching diode, which consists of three individual opposing polarity 300V diodes in the six-lead SOT-26 package. Through the use of an alternative mounting pad geometry, the three individual diodes are configured in series as a single 900V device suitable for high-voltage switching applications. The CMXD2004TO can also be configured in other various combinations offering designers even further flexibility.

The 2004 family of devices are also currently available in single-, dual- and triple-diode configurations in SOT-23, SOT-143, SOT-26, SOT-323, SOD-323 and SOD-523 packages. The devices are available in bulk pack or 3,000 pieces on 7in tape-and-reel. Pricing for the CMXD2004TO starts at $0.26 each for 3,000 pieces on a 7in reel. Sample devices are available upon request.
