Calex Announces Compact Filter for DC-DC Converters

Calex Manufacturing Company, Inc. announced the availability of the EFIL-100-10 filter module. The EFIL-100-10 is a compact 1 x 2 x0.45" input differential and common mode filter for Calex dc-dc converters. The board mount unit is housed in a water washable non-conductive case and is available with either RoHS or non-RoHS construction. The EFIL-100-10 is designed to be used in series with the input to the dc-dc converter, between the source and the converter. A single EFIL-100-10 can be used as the front end for multiple dc-dc converters as long as the total input current does not exceed 10Adc.

The maximum input voltage for the EFIL-100-10 is 100Vdc. The maximum input frequency is 100Hz. The EFIL-100-10 is isolated input to output at 1000Vdc. The differential mode insertion loss is typically 31dB. The common mode insertion loss is typically 28dB. The operating temperature range is -40 to +60°C. The storage range is -40 to +105°C.
