New Products Aug 15, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Calex Manufacturing Co. Inc. (Concord, CA) announced its new Model 22-100 linear power supply, which provides a tightly regulated ±15 V output providing ±100 mA of output current. The output noise for the 22-100 is low at 2 mV RMS, making the unit suitable for powering sensitive analog circuitry. The compact 2 in x 3 in x 1 in unit is epoxy potted for use in a variety of environments.

The output-voltage accuracy for the 22-100 is ±0.5 percent. Line and load regulation is ±0.04 percent maximum. The input-voltage options are 100 Vac, 115 Vac, 220 Vac, 230 Vac, and 240 Vac. The ac-input frequency range is from 50 Hz to 60 Hz. The unit is isolated input to output with an isolation voltage of 1,000 V(rms). The isolation resistance is 50 MΩ. The case operating temperature range for the 22-100 is from -25 °C to +50 °C. The temperature coefficient is ±0.01 percent/°C. All units are protected with foldback current limiting and are backed by a five-year warranty.

Pricing for the 22-100 is 77.73 for 100-piece quantities. Units are available from stock.
