Big Wave Power Intros Titan I Portable Power Source

Big Wave Power Inc. (Harbor OR) introduced its new Titan I portable power source, which is a small, lightweight, universal external battery for use with any device that uses chargers up to 9 V. The Titan I uses patented nanotechnology energy-management circuitry, integrated with a high-quality lithium-ion battery, to create a portable charging source that is suitable for wireless phones, pocket personal computers, personal digital assistants, MP3 players, portable gaming devices, wireless headsets, digital cameras, smart watches, global positioning systems, camcorders, bluetooth devices, blackberrys, and other dc-powered devices.

Two devices can be charged simultaneously; one from the USB-based 5 V port, and another on the 9 V FireWire-based port. The Titan I features recharge cycles of more than 3,500; a recharge time of up to 2.5 hours; a warranty of two years; a listed weight of 4.8 oz; dimensions of 4.10 in x 2.41 in x 0.67 in; an output voltage of 5 V and 9 V; simultaneous charging of two devices at once; and charge-level LEDs of 100 percent, 50 percent, 25 percent.
