AVX/Kyocera Releases Capafim Series Power Capacitors

AVX/Kyocera (Singapore) released its new Capafim Series of high-power capacitors, which have a capacitance range of 88 µF to 1.62 mF and a voltage range of 1.2 kVdc to 3.9 kVdc. Suitable for dc filtering applications, the devices have a stray inductance of 0.4 mH (maximum), a test voltage between terminals of 1.5 V for up to 10 seconds, and a life expectancy of 100,000 hours.
