Avansys Power Debuts AVE100-D DC/DC Power Module

Avansys Power Co. Ltd. (China) announced the new AVE100-D high-efficiency, dual-output, half-brick, dc/dc power module that is designed for applications requiring well-regulated 5V and 3.3V outputs. Applications include telecom and datacom equipment, and offers low power loss for demanding 36Vdc to 75Vdc input applications.

The open-frame module provides 3.3V and 5V output at 20A and 25A, respectively, and delivers a total output power of 100W and an efficiency rating of 88 percent. Each output channel is completely independent of the other so the user has 100W of power available at any time. The company is also offering a quarter-brick module that delivers up to 90 percent efficiency, and offers a single output of 5V, 3.3V, 1.8V and 1.5V. They carry UL, CSA and TUV, as well as FCC Class A safety approvals.
