Astrodyne Corp. (Taunton, MA) introduced its HB Series of dc-dc converters that offer up to 200W of output power at currents to 80A in a 2.3in x 2.4in footprint. Using integral multi-layer/PCB planar magnetics, the series is appropriate for demanding applications.
Available in single, dual and triple outputs from 1.5Vdc to 13Vdc, the HB Series offers wide input ranges of 18Vdc to 36Vdc and 36Vdc to 75Vdc. Features include input under-voltage lockout, output over-voltage protection and over-temperature protection. Hiccup-mode output-overload protection supports continuous overload conditions. The converters provide tight line/load regulation to ±0.1%, and ripple/noise performance is as low as 50mV.
