APS Debuts APS63MI Family of Medical Power Supplies

Advanced Power Solutions (APS, Pleasanton, CA) announced a new family of rugged power supplies that meet the stringent requirements of today’s medical equipment. The APS63MI family of 60 W single-output power supplies offer an industry-standard 2 in x 4 in footprint with a low profile of 0.92 in.
Utilizing fixed-frequency flyback circuitry, the supply features a low leakage current of less than 100 mA at 230 Vac; Class B emissions and worldwide safety approvals, including UL/cUL60601-1, EN60601 and the CE Mark; efficiencies of up to 80% to 89.5% typical; an operating temperature of 0 °C to 50 °C; and an airflow of 5 cfm.
