Apex Microtechnology Corp. (Tucson, AZ) introduced the PA38 and PA39, cost-effective, high-voltage MOSFET power operational amplifiers constructed with surface-mount components on a thermally conductive, but electrically isolated substrate. The metal substrate allows the PA38 and PA39 to dissipate power up to 125W and the power supply voltages can range up to ±100V (200V total) for the PA38, and ±50V (100V total) for the PA39, both with a high slew rate of 10V/µs.
The PA38 is priced at $37.90 for 100-unit quantities and the PA39 is priced at $36.10 for 100-unit quantities. Evaluation units are available now with production quantities in four weeks ARO.
