Apex Microtechnology Debuts MSA66 PWM Amplifier
Apex Microtechnology Corp. (Tucson, AZ) debuted its new MSA66 full-bridge, four-quadrant, pulse-width modulated amplifier, which is capable of driving dc brush motors in the one-third horsepower range and smaller. The amplifier can operate with ground-referenced inputs that swing from -10 V to +10 V to match the output characteristics of many motor control integrated circuits.
System integration is further enhanced with the MSA66's ability to operate from a single power supply. A common supply can be used for both the motor supply and logic supply if within the 7.5 V to 16 V Vcc. Rated at 5 A output with motor supplies up to 80 V, the MSA66 can deliver 400 W of continuous power to the load.
The MSA66 is priced at $47.90 in 100-piece quantities.
