Always On UPS Systems Inc. (Kelowna, BC) announced its FB3001TB power source controller and UPS, which is designed to provide conditioned, regulated and non-interrupted 12Vdc, 24Vdc and 48Vdc of power. The FB3001TB design provides for a highly efficient power source controller and UPS to supply continuous regulated power to the computer system and within its power supply operating parameters.
Input power to the FB3001TB is supplied via the charging system or main vehicle batteries, and in the event of failure, the power will be supplied by the auxiliary battery. Continual monitoring of the main input and auxiliary UPS battery levels will supply the FB3001TB with the information required to activate the controls to select which power source should be utilized to supply power to the computer system or loads.
Features of the FB3001TB include an input current of 15A and an output current of 3A, power consumption of <5W (on-line mode) and <3W (backup mode), a low voltage of 22.5V and a high voltage of 32V, a maximum auxiliary battery charge current of 15A (30A surge), and an operating temperature from -30 to +65 degrees C.
