Agilent Technologies Intros N5700 Series DC Power Supply

September 01, 2004 by Jeff Shepard

Agilent Technologies Inc. (Palo Alto, CA) introduced its N5700 Series system dc power supply, which offers a high power density with up to 1,500 W in a space-saving 1U-high (1-EIA rack unit) package with PC standard input/output (I/O), including LAN, USB and GPIB.

The N5700 Series consists of 24 single-output programmable power supply models that offer affordable basic power capabilities in the medium-power range to simplify and speed test system development for research and development, design validation and manufacturing engineers in the aerospace and defense, automotive, component and communications industries.

The N5700 Series consists of 24 power supply models that provide stable output power and built-in voltage and current measurement from 6 V to 600 V and 1.3 A to 180 A. For greater flexibility, power supply instruments can be configured in parallel or series operation for greater output current or voltage. All models have universal ac input with power-factor correction so they can be automatically operated from any ac mains input voltage worldwide.

All 24 models of the Agilent N5700 Series system dc power supply are available now with prices starting at $2,300 each.
