Advance-Galatrek Offers StrikeSafe Protection

Advance-Galatrek (UK) unveiled a

new range of transient voltage surge suppressors (TVSS) targeted at mid-range computing, networks and telecom applications. The StrikeSafe range of TVSS devices are intended to absorb potentially harmful transient energy generated by lightning strikes, as well as a wide range of hardware,

including photocopiers, induction motors, generators, manufacturing equipment and other office equipment.

To combat the damage that can be caused by internally generated transients - together with any surges from external sources such as lightning strikes - StrikeSafe incorporates a patent-pending matrix technology. It allows the TVSS device to continue functioning in accordance with specification, even if a voltage surge damages an individual component.
