600W Conduction Cooled Modular Power Platform

Vox Power Ltd. announces the release of their VCCM600 series of conduction, convection or forced-air cooled configurable power platforms. The VCCM600 series offers customers 600 Watts of conduction cooled power with up to 750 Watts of peak power in a small 177.8mm x 101.6mm x 40mm (7 x 4 x 1.61 Inches) footprint. Each configured VCCM600 conduction cooled solution can consist of up to 4 isolated 150-Watt dc output modules which can be series or parallel connected to scale the output voltage and current as required by the user.

Main features include: 600 Watts Output (Vin >120Vrms); Medical and ITE Approvals; Optional Lid (Refer to De-Rating Guidelines); Peak Power Capability (750W for 5 Seconds); 7” x 4” x 1.61” Footprint; Conduction/Convection/Forced-Air Cooled Ratings; Low Power Standby Mode (<1W); IEC60601 Ed. 3 (Immunity to Ed. 4); MIL-STD 810G; SEMI F47 compliant; 5 Year warranty; PM Bus Capability on Single Output 600W Modules; Programmable Start-Up State (Laser Applications); Kilowatt Power Level Capability Using Modules E, F, G & H; BF Medical Rating on Modules E, F, G & H; Integrated Temperature O/P Signal; and Integrated OR-FETs on Modules E, F, G & H.

These configurable modular power supplies are being introduced by Vox Power at electronica 2016 in Munich, Germany. In 2017 the range of outputs will be extended to include a series of digitally-controlled, high-power single-output modules which will enable customers and channels to create multiple output OR high power single output conduction cooled solutions in the matter of a few minutes.

The specifications of the VCCM600 series will enable the product platform to be adopted across a broad range of market sectors, allowing customers huge flexibility in how they address their power needs for one or several applications at a time.

The VCCM conduction cooled product platform utilizes state of the art power dissipation techniques and unique DFM (Design for Manufacturability) processes which are produced in a minimum touch production environment.
