5W AC-DCs with UL60601/EN60601 Medical Certification

Mornsun has released the LD05-20BxxMU series of 5W ac-dc power supplies with UL60601/EN60601 Medical Certification, 3rd Edition. The converters feature compact DIP package of 53.80 x 28.80 x 19.00 mm. They operate over the input voltage range of 85- to 264-Vac (or 100- to 370-Vdc). Standard output voltages include; 5Vdc, 12Vdc, 15Vdc, and 24Vdc, and the operating temperature range is -25 to +70 degrees C. The high efficiency (up to 81%) and the low standby power consumption (low to 0.13W) save energy of the system.

LD05-20BxxMU series provide short-circuit protection, over-current protection and output over-voltage protection, and have UL60601/EN60601 Medical Certification 3rd Edition (2 x MOPP), which make them suited for medical industry as well as industrial control, instrumentation, communication industry, etc.

Hold-up time is 10ms at 115Vac input power and 80ms at 230Vac input power. Input-to-output isolation is 4kV. These power supplies deliver full-rated power from 0 to 55 degrees C and derate linearly to 75% of rated power at -25 degrees C and to 70% of rated power at 70 degrees C.
