59-Watt, 42V IP67-Rated LED Driver

GlacialPower, a division of LED technology manufacturer GlacialTech Inc., has launched a new LED driver, the GP-LS60P-42C 1E, with a 42V, 59-Watt dc output. This rugged, highly-efficient driver is suited for a wide range of indoor and outdoor environments and applications, thanks to its IP67 rated environmental protection from water and dust, and it also offers extensive thermal and electrical safety features.

The tough and reliable GP-LS60P-42C 1E handles a wide input voltage range from 90- to 305-Vac, and can handle frequencies from 47 up to 63 Hz (the rated voltage is 100- to 240-Vac, with a maximum rated voltage of 277Vac for North America only). The driver can operate in constant current mode.

The GP-LS60P-42C 1E’s high output voltage quality protects LED lights from harm. GlacialPower designed the GP-LS60P-42C 1E to provide optimal electrical stability, with negligible ripple in the clean, stable output voltage, and noise levels maintained at less than 250mV. This creates an optimal lighting environment, with no flickering.

Thanks to its active power factor correction the GP-LS60P-42C 1E uses input power with great efficiency. In addition, this LED driver also boasts high power output efficiency. At full load, the driver’s power factor is better than 0.98 at 120Vac, better than 0.94 at 240Vac and higher than 0.92 at 277Vac. The driver’s no load power consumption is less than 0.5W, and is highly responsive, with a start-up time of less than 0.5 seconds at 230Vac and full load.

The GP-LS60P-42C 1E is reliable and durable, with features that ensure a long, safe, maintenance-free lifetime – such as Over-Voltage Protection (OVP), Over-Current Protection (OCP), Over-Temperature Protection (OTP), and Short-Circuit Protection (SCP).

This LED driver provides reliable support for indoor and outdoor lighting systems in extreme weather and wet or dusty environments, due to the protection provided by its waterproof and dustproof IP67 rated enclosure. The GP-LS60P-42C 1E also features IP68 rated power connectors that can be plugged in or unplugged without opening the IP67 rated housing, for easy installation and maintenance.

This LED driver with a series Class I Metal case and IP68 rated power connector is compatible with LED models from 59W to 192W (GP-LS60P-42C 1E, LS100P-36 1E, LS100P-57 1E, LS150P-60 and LS200P-60 1E).
