Mean Well has unveiled the 480W HLG-480H and HLG-480H-C series LED drivers to meet the needs for large-scale LED lighting systems. This family of LED drivers includes models equipped with different dimming functions such as; adjustable Io value, 3-in-1 dimming function, and smart timer dimming function. They are suitable for use in LED street lighting, LED fishing lamps, LED harbor lighting, LED greenhouse lighting, LED high bay lighting, and so on.
The HLG-480H and HLG-480H-C operate over a universal input range of 90- to 305-Vac. They include build-in power factor correction and comply with harmonic current limit per EN61000-3-2 Class C (≧50% load). The HLG-480H operates in both CV and CC modes while the HLKG-480H-C operates in CC mode only. They have operating efficiencies up to 95% and operate over a temperature range of -40 to +90 degrees C (case temperature).
These IP67/65 rated power converters feature a convection-cooled, fanless design. Protection functions include: Short circuit / Over current (HLG-480H only) / Over voltage / Over temperature. Approvals include: UL/CUL/ENEC/CCC/CB/CE and are designed for use in Class I, Division 2 hazardous (Classified) location luminaires. They are packaged in a metal case measuring ( L x W x H ) 262 x 125 x 43.8 mm.
