Mean Well has unveiled the 30W/40W GEM30I/40I series green wall-mounted medical adaptor with the interchangeable AC plugs (European, USA, U.K. and Australian types) in order to fulfill the application demands requiring higher output wattage. The electrical specifications and enclosure design of GEM30I/40I all follow the previously-announced GEM18I series. Their design are approved for IEC60601-1 3rd edition, EN60601-1-11, and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1-11 household medical regulations; the fulfillment of 2xMOPP level and the ultra low leakage current (<100uA) make GEM30I/40I suitable for BF (direct contact with patients) medical equipment.
