200- to 1500-Vdc Input DC-DCs Deliver up to 40W

The new PVxx-29Bxx series from Mornsun is a 200- to 1500-Vdc ultra-wide input voltage regulated 10W to 40W dc-dc converters, which have advantages such as high efficiency, high reliability and high safety isolation. The series products are designed for use in industries such as photovoltaic power generation and high voltage frequency conversion, provide a stable operating voltage for the load device. Its multiple protection features can enhance the safety performance of the module power supply and the load under abnormal working conditions.

Features and specifications for these dc-dc converters include: Industrial grade operating temperature of -40 to +70 degrees C; 4000Vac isolation voltage; High efficiency plus low ripple and noise; Input under-voltage protection, reverse input voltage protection, output short circuit, over-current, and over-voltage protection; UL 1741/CSA-C22.2 No.107.1, EN62109 approval; Mounting options include PCB mounting or DIN-Rail mounting; A8 DIN-Rail package products built-in high-voltage fuse RoHS and EMC filter module.

Models in this series of dc/dc converters include: PV15-29B05 rated for 10W with an output of 5Vdc at 2000mA and typical efficiency of 64% with an input of 800Vdc; PV15-29B12 rated for 15W with an output of 12Vdc at 1250mA and a typical efficiency of 71% with an input of 800Vdc; PV15-29B15 rated for 15W with an output of 15Vdc at 1000mA and a typical efficiency of 72% with an input of 800Vdc; PV15-29B24 rated for 15W with an output of 24Vdc at 625mA and a typical efficiency of 74% with an input of 800Vdc;

PV40-29B12 rated for 40W with an output of 12Vdc at 3330mA and a typical efficiency of 76% with an input of 800Vdc; PV40-29B15 rated for 40W with an output of 15Vdc at 2670mA and a typical efficiency of 78% with an input of 800Vdc; and PV40-29B24 rated for 40W with an output of 24Vdc at 1670mA and a typical efficiency of 80% with an input of 800Vdc.
