15W DC-DC Converters with 200- to 1,500-V Input Range

Mornsun recently released compact PV15-29BxxL series to save customers' cost. This series offer 20% cost reduction and a smaller size of 109 x 58.5 x 30mm than PV15/PV40-29Bxx series, so they are especially suitable for space constrained applications. The PV15-29BxxL series offer 200- to 1500-Vdc input voltage, 4000Vac isolation and 5000m operating elevation.

These single-output dc-dc converters are available with outputs of 5-, 12-, 15, and 24-Vdc. They also provide multiple protections such as input under-voltage, reverse voltage, output short-circuit, over-current and over-voltage protections.

Applications are expected to include PV solar combiner, PV solar inverter, high voltage switching, and similar systems. These dc-dc converters are specified for operation from -25 to +70 degrees C and are offered in PCB mounting, chassis mounting and DIN-rail mounting configurations.
