150W AC-DCs with Base Plate Cooling Technology
MTM Power® will introduce during electronica 2016 (Hall A2, Stand 328) a new generation of 150W ac-dc power supplies with Base Plate Cooling (BPC) technology designed for use in industrial applications. With a universal input of 85- to 264-Vac these power supplies are designed for worldwide use in industrial networks. The new PCMAT150 S24 provides an output voltage of 24Vdc and will serve as a basis for further performance classes and output voltage variations that complement the portfolio of this series in 2017.
The contact-cooled devices have a robust design, powerful good signal and active PFC. Its electrical properties include an efficiency of up to 92.5%, an operating temperature of -40 to +70 degrees C, remote control and an overload capability of 150% (Power Boost).
The design of the insulation coils for overvoltage category OV 3 allows the use in transient applications such as energy engineering. The vacuum-sealed switching power supplies provide reliable protection against condensation, conductive dusts and other environmental influences.
They are connected via industrial connectors and can be used as a plug-and-play solution in sensitive electronics subsystems. Due to the robust design in BPC technology, it is possible to dissipate the heat loss through the mounting plate and thus increase the life expectancy of the devices.
