0402 and 0603 Automotive Grade NTC Thermistors

Panasonic has announced the expansion of the ERT-JM Series. With AEC-Q200 compliance, these NTC Thermistors are automotive grade for impressive performance in harsh environments. An integrated isolating layer minimizes the reflow and external environmental influences. These thermistors are now available in 0402 and 0603 case sizes for greater application coverage.

Rated power dissipation is 66mW for the 0402 devices and 100mW for the 0603 devices. The dissipation factor is approximately 2 mW/ degree C for the 0402 devices and approximately 3 mW/ degree C for the 0603 devices. Nominal resistance at 25 degrees C ranges from 10- to 100-kΩ.

These thermistors feature a highly-reliable multilayer / monolithic structure and have an operating temperature range of -40 to +150 degrees C. They are environmentally-friendly, lead-free and RoHS compliant. Expected applications include car audio systems, engine control units, electric pumps and compressors, LED lights, batteries and temperature detection for various circuits.
