Zilker Labs Inc. today announced the opening of its new Hong Kong-based subsidiary, Zilker Labs Asia Ltd. The wholly-owned subsidiary is an engineering and sales office that will focus on supporting Zilker Labs' growing customer base in Asia, and on expanding the reach of its Digital-DC™ power management and conversion products.
Zilker Labs Asia will be overseen by Sandy Chan, who will implement the subsidiary's sales, marketing and customer support efforts for the Asia Pacific region. Chan has more than 20 years' experience in the semiconductor industry, including regional leadership roles at MicroLinear, Unitrode, Memec, Microchip, National Semiconductor and Fairchild Semiconductor.
