Zetex Semiconductors has opened its first representative office in mainland China. Located in Shenzhen, he new office provides local customer service and technical support for the company's analog semiconductor products.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Bob Conway, Zetex' CEO stated, "China is clearly the manufacturing powerhouse behind a whole host of consumer electronics which benefit greatly from our unique brand of power efficient devices."
"Opening the new office is very much a strategic decision for us. We have a number of very important customers in the region and it's essential for s to be closer to them, to provide them with the right level of service and support," he concluded.
