September 06, 2007 by Jeff Shepard

Zetex Semiconductors announced that it has signed a distribution agreement with Sasco Holz to cover Central and Eastern Europe. Under the agreement, Sasco Holz will offer the complete range of Zetex analogue semiconductors in Austria, Benelux, the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland and Switzerland as well as the CIS states of Belarus, Russia and the Ukraine.

Frank Marx, Chief Sales Officer at Zetex, said, "In key markets in Central and Eastern Europe it’s vital that our high-efficiency power management and signal processing solutions are not simply pushed down the supply chain. With product innovations particularly focused on LED lighting, audio and DBS applications we need business partners able to offer expert technical knowledge and up-to-the minute logistics solutions."

Michael Hettrich, Marketing Director at Sasco Holz said "Despite supporting a very wide range of different product technologies, we can provide a depth of service normally only available from specialist regional distributors or systems houses. Sasco Holz looks after the specific needs of the very important analogue components sector through a dedicated competence centre and is delighted to welcome Zetex Semiconductors on board and to be able to offer our customers yet another top quality product line."
