VRB Power Systems Inc. (Vancouver, BC) announced the appointment of Clive Brereton to the company's Technical Advisory Board. Brereton has held several positions in the chemical and energy engineering industry, including seven years of teaching at the University of British Columbia. He specializes in electrochemical problems as well as fluid mixing and separation processes.
Additonally, Brereton holds three patents, including one for the "boundary layer anode," a novel electrochemical cell. He has also recently developed a new technology for separation of bromine from electrochemically produced chlorine.
