USFCC Launches Effort to for Standardized SOFC Procedures

March 15, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

In response to a need within the solid-oxide fuel cell (SOFC) community, the US Fuel Cell Council (USFCC, Washington, DC) has launched an effort to develop data reporting guidelines and standardized testing procedures for a range of commonly employed SOFC test configurations.

Since not all categories of configurations can be practically considered at the same time, the USFCC's Solid-Oxide Focus Group is disseminating an industry-wide "SOFC Testing Procedures Survey" to determine the best approach the USFCC should take in developing these guidelines and procedures.

Surveys can be downloaded from http://www.usfcc.com/SOFC-ProtocolSurvey-05-034.doc. The due date for responses to the survey is May 3, 2005.
