TAEC Moves U.S. Headquarters and Collocates with other Toshiba Subsidiaries

Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. (TAEC) has moved its corporate headquarters to 9740 Irvine Blvd., in Irvine, California. Previously located at 19900 MacArthur Blvd. in Irvine, TAEC now joins five other Toshiba America, Inc., subsidiaries in a larger 445,410 square foot facility. The campus improves both operational and building efficiencies enabling TAEC to optimize its day-to-day business and marketing activities.

The Toshiba owned building, occupied solely by Toshiba companies, includes a state-of-the-art training center, product demonstration facility and a cafeteria. The campus is also located near a train station, which promotes public transportation, and features a solar energy system that utilizes a photovoltaic inverter technology created and implemented by Toshiba International Corporation.

"Moving to the new larger campus is part of an ongoing effort to improve efficiencies within our company," said Hideya Yamaguchi, president and CEO of Toshiba America Electronic Components, Inc. "The move not only accommodates continued growth, but also provides a more efficient work environment, while supporting our commitment to optimal use of space and resources."

Approximately 160 executive, sales, marketing and administrative staff has moved to the new headquarters. Key products to be marketed from this location are Flash memory-based storage solutions, solid state drives (SSDs), hard disk drives (HDDs), Solid State Hybrid Drives (SSHDs), and discrete devices.
