STMicroelectronics Inc. (STM, Geneva, Switzerland) announced the completion of the sale of the mixed-signal business activities of Alcatel Microelectronics (Belgium) to AMI Semiconductor (Pocatello, ID). The transaction, announced earlier this year, covers Alcatel's mixed-signal ASIC business and development groups, including two Alcatel fabrication facilities located in Oudenaarde, Belgium, and the associated process technologies.
