SL Industries announced the appointment of Ken Owens to the position of President of its SL Power Electronics (SLPE) subsidiary.
Owens first joined the company in the newly created position of Vice President of Operational Excellence. Most recently he was the Senior VP, Global Operations for C&M Corporation and prior to that held several management positions with Danaher Corporation including Division President, Division General Manager and Group Vice President of Operations.
"I am pleased that Ken has accepted the opportunity and challenge of becoming the President of our Power Electronics Division. He has a wealth of management experience and particular expertise in lean manufacturing. President of the Company’s largest division is a key position for the corporation and Ken’s background and leadership experience are key attributes in my decision to promote him into this role," said Bill Fejes, CEO of SL Industries.
