S&C Electric Co. (Chicago, IL) announced that UPS Systems plc (Hungerford, UK) is to be its power quality partner in the UK. UPS Systems was selected from several potential candidates due to its strong market presence and its ability to provide technical solutions for power quality problems. The agreement gives UPS Systems access to the complete S&C family of power quality products.
UPS Systems Managing Director Tom Sperrey said, "As the UK specialist in standby power, our customers have requirements at both ends of the power spectrum, and the addition of the PureWave range has filled an important product area in our portfolio. We were conscious of the need for a fuss-free turnkey power protection solution for large users, especially industrial users.
