ReliOn Adds Telecom Veteran to Management Team

ReliOn, Inc. announced the appointment of Marcos Villanueva, a twenty-year veteran of the telecommunications industry, as vice president of international business development. Mr. Villanueva is responsible for establishing the strategy and pursuing ReliOn's business opportunities outside of North America.

Mr. Villanueva has over 20 years of experience in telecommunications, including 10 years with the U.S. operator Ameritech, working in key positions, such as Installation, Maintenance, Regulatory and International Business Development. In addition, Mr. Villanueva has managed international wireless sales operations for Nortel Networks and Qualcomm.

Just prior to joining ReliOn he spent 8 years with Ericsson, as the Regional Vice President for Network Roll Out, and Vice President Services and Operations, for Ericsson Central America, and finally as Vice President Solutions and Business Development for Turkey and Israel. Mr. Villanueva has lived and worked in Chile, United States, Brazil, Spain, Panama and Turkey.
