Pulse Releases 2005 Power Magnetics Catalog

May 30, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Pulse Engineering Inc. (San Diego, CA), a manufacturer of passive electronic magnetic-based components, announced the release of its 2005 Power Magnetics Catalog, which offers a complete range of power magnetics for dc-dc converter and ac-dc applications. The magnetics are divided into six product types: power inductors, high-frequency switching power transformers, current sense magnetics, gate drive transformers, common mode chokes and low-frequency laminated transformers.

The new 108-page catalog contains a complete parts index and datasheets for each part. Over 95% of the components listed in Pulse's Power Magnetics Catalog are currently Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS)-compliant. Conversion is in process for the remaining part numbers. RoHS-compliant products are indicated in the catalog by an RoHS stamp on the data sheet and an NL suffix at the end of the product part number. Easy-to-use inductor selector guides allow engineers to quickly determine, based on required inductance and current, which product line they should be considering and to quickly find a specific surface mount (SMT) or through-hole (THT) inductor part number within this product line.

The new 2005 Power Magnetics Catalog can be downloaded from the company's website at http://www.pulseeng.com/pdf/PC2005.pdf, or a print version can be ordered by contacting Pulse's worldwide headquarters in the United States at 858-674-8100, or by e-mail to [email protected].
